Just how influencable is peer pressure on people? This is the question I have been conducting research on in order to get a better understanding on this aspect of marketing (not for evil purposes of course)

Anyway, I stumbled across a video on metacafe which demonstrates peer pressure in a really funny way.

I can fully understand why groups of friends tend to dress alike and buy into the same sorts of lifestyles but I wouldnt have thought people would follow people to the extent that it looks as bizzare as the actions of some people in this video.
